This is Georghi at the Chicago International New Art Forms Exposition in 1989.  Georghi, along with Aidan Salakhova and Grisha Brushkin were the second group of artists to come to Lakeside from the exchange we arranged with the Soviet Artists Union.  Lakeside was the first American institution to arrange any kind of exchange like this, and quite a few of our American artists benefited from the reciprocal aspect of this program.
